Only Had Them For A Week
Have used consumer reports for all major purchases for past 30 years or so. Usually I only buy products with CR recommendation check, but took a chance on these since noise and comfort rating was as high as their recommended brands. Tire only had lower marks in snow and ice categories. Being in Florida that did not matter to me. Have driven in rain and traction seems fine. Significantly lower price so with high marks otherwise it was worth it to try them. Glad I did, these tires are unbelievably quiet and much, much smoother, and easier to steer than those I replaced. Bought car used. Had Goodyear tires on it, but they were old, in bad shape, so wouldn't be necessarily fair for me to say new Maxxis is better than Goodyear. All I can say is that these are a huge improvement in ride and noise. I was very pleased that, so far, I think this was a good purchase.
